Whether this is your first murder mystery experience or your fortieth, each murder mystery experience is different and has different rules. Here are some tips to review to help make sure the night is an unforgettable experience:

Things to know:

  • Some guests will be playing character roles. If you are interested in taking a role please let Ariela know. You will receive a character profile, which tells you who you are and what your motives are, then all you need to do is act the part throughout the evening. You’ll also get two envelopes at different times during the evening to give you more information and let you know if your character is up to something. Fun!
  • Dress code. You are not required to come in 1920’s attire, though of course it would be awesome if you did. It’s a proven fact that the more into the murder mystery theme you are the easier it will be for you to truly enjoy all the aspects of the night. In addition, costumes make for great photo opps.
  • Gangster Gazette. When you RSVP you will receive a copy of the Gangster Gazette via email. Review the Gazette. It includes background information on the other guests attending the party, which may come in handy once the murder goes down…
  • Use Your Money Wisely. Upon arrival, you will receive some “gangster money” to spend any way you choose. Bribery and blackmail are two of the most common uses. The wealthiest player at the end of the nice will receive an award for their ability to turn a profit.
