Mark is the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, but in his other life, he is an internationally recognized author, scholar and lecturer on the Middle East and Islam. He is an attorney, a former member of the Justice Department, a past Director of the Canadian Jewish Congress, and a member of Hadassah’s National Academic Advisory Board.
In addition to being the author of “The Quartermasters of Terror: Saudi Arabia and the Global Islamic Jihad”, (one of the seminal books out today on the silent role Saudi Arabia plays in funding and spreading radical Islam throughout America and around the world) and a prolific writer with over 360 published articles to his credit, he is recognized as a world-class foreign policy analyst specializing in the Middle East, and publishes through the Hudson Institute in New York, and with the Ariel Center for Policy Research in Israel.

He is also a Contributing Editor for Arutz Sheva (Israel National News), the New Media Journal (out of Chicago), Family Security Matters and his articles have appeared in American Thinker, the Middle East Times, China Confidential; Israel Insider; Intelligence Summit; and many other journals including Midstream and Outpost Magazines.

During the late 1980s, Mark served as a foreign policy consultant to the Secretary General of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem during the first Palestinian Intifada, and has lectured extensively at many universities here and abroad including the University of Tel Aviv, the University of Florida (Gainesville), the University of Delaware (Wilmington) and East Stroudsburg University.
