This is a very accomplished group, having already made their mark on the world in innumerable ways. As we get ready to send them off into the world, it's a good time to look back at what they wrote then. Good

In Boston earlier
this week, I decided to stop and pay respects at what has become my home town’s
version of Ground Zero, the memorial to the victims of the Boston marathon bombing,
at Copley Square. The personal messages and gestures are both beautiful and
heartbreaking. So many children have donated teddy bears. What must it be like for a child to bring his
favorite bear and leave it at

Shabbat Shalom
I am SO looking forward to services at Treetops this evening at 6 (download directions here). A very special thank you to the Brownstein family for inviting us into their little taste of paradise on what promises to be a beautiful midsummer type evening. Right now the place looks like a scene right out of "Mary Poppins." Lisa and Don really have outdone themselves with

Rosh Hashanah Sermons by Rabbi Joshua Hammerman
Rosh Hashanah Day 1 5770
“A Signature Mitzvah”
OK – set your watches. I’ve got a tough job – I’ve got four sermons over the next ten days – a couple of hours to recharge your Jewish batteries for another year, to convince you that it matters to be a Jew, to live by Jewish values and to raise Jewish families; to believe that Judaism gives us

Rosh Hashanah Day One
"Power to the Peoplehood"
L’Shanah tova. Today we unveil our new logo. The design was developed by a local artist and refined by a number of our leaders and various impromptu focus groups – including some bar mitzvah students coming through my office. Over these next ten days, I’m going to share the story of this banner, what it is, what it says about who we are and what
