ADULT EDUCATION

Helps make education programs available for adult members of the congregation.

BETH EL CARES

Helps the poor and unfortunate, both in the synagogue and in the community, through the performance of mitzvot (good deeds) and gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness).

CANTOR KAPLAN’S DISCRETIONARY FUND

Allows the Cantor to support charitable, congregational and/or professional needs, as determined by the Cantor on behalf of Temple Beth El.

EMMET MANHEIM MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND FUND

Provides for improvements and ongoing maintenance of TBE’s playground built in memory of Emmet Manheim.

FRANK & ROSE ROSNER MEMORIAL FUND

Provides funds for selected maintenance projects.

KIDDUSH FUND

Helps pay the cost of our weekly Shabbat Kiddush. To sponsor a Kiddush contact the TBE office at 203-322-6901, ext. 304.

MATTHEW KLEIN, z’l MEMORIAL SANCTUARY GARDEN FUND

Used to purchase and maintain plantings for the garden located to the right of the main synagogue entrance.

RABBI KNOPF’S DISCRETIONARY FUND

Allows the Rabbi to support charitable, congregational and/or professional needs, as determined by the Rabbi on behalf of Temple Beth El.

STEVEN & LIEBA LANDER LECTURE SERIES FUND

Provides support to help bring guest speakers and scholars-in-residence to TBE.
