This will be a broad overview of Talmud for the beginning or intermediate
learner. What is the Talmud? When was it written? Why was it written? How and why is it relevant today? In this six-session class, Rabbi Gerry Gingburg will dive into “the sea of Talmud,” especially how it is constructed. No previous exposure to Talmud is necessary. All materials will be provided.
