Save the Weekend.

Rabbi Warshawsky has been described as a “breakthrough talent in the world of Jewish music” and has shared his original melodies with over 100 Jewish communities — from synagogues to summer camps — in the United States, Canada, the UK and Israel. The inspiring singer, song leader, musician and composer has released five albums of Jewish music, and he has been featured on six Jewish music anthology publications in the last six years. His melodies are written intentionally to express and re-imagine the deep meaning of the words of our tradition.

“My mission is to help people find a spiritual and meaningful home for themselves in order to live lives filled with purpose,” explains Rabbi Warshawsky, who is a graduate of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles. “We can find that meaning through Jewish sacred text and ritual, and in the chain of tradition passed down from generation to generation.”

TBE invits the Jewish community to join Rabbi Warshawsky for Havdalah and a special concert on Saturday, November 4, at 7:30 pm. Accompanying the rabbi will be Coleen Dieker, renowned musician and violinist. Dessert will follow the concert.

The community is also invited to join Rabbi Joshua Hammerman and Cantor Katie Kaplan, along with Rabbi Warshawsky, in song and prayer for services on Friday, November 3, at 7 pm, and Shabbat morning on Saturday, November 4, at 10 am.

Temple Beth El extends a Shana Tova 5784 to the Jewish community. May it be a year filled with peace, good health, and an abundance of joy and happiness.
